Why This Page Exists

You deserve to know how the ideas on Decor Sagel are made. This page explains who writes our articles, how we check them, and how we handle images.

We believe honesty builds trust. So we keep nothing hidden.

Who Writes Our Articles

Every article on Decor Sagel is written by people. Martyn Lawrence Bullard is our author and the voice behind our ideas. His years in interior design shape what we cover and how we explain it.

We do not publish articles written by artificial intelligence. Our words, tips, and opinions come from real experience and real thinking.

How We Use AI

We do use AI tools in a small, careful way. Here is where they help us and where they do not.

AI helps us gather facts and do background research. It can point us toward information, such as materials, measurements, or design history. It saves time when we are exploring a topic.

AI does not write our articles. It does not replace our judgment. It never decides what we publish.

Nothing from an AI tool goes straight onto the site. A person checks every fact it gives us against reliable sources before we use it.

Where Our Ideas Come From

Our ideas start with real homes and real questions. We look at what readers ask, what rooms people struggle with, and what styles are growing.

We do not copy other sites. If a topic is already covered everywhere, we look for a fresh angle. We ask one simple question before we write: “Will this help someone decorate better?” If the answer is no, we skip it.

How We Check Our Work

Each article goes through a serious review before it is published. We do not rush this step.

First, we plan the article and set its goal. Next, we write it in clear, simple words. Then we check every fact, name, measurement, and claim.

After that, we read it again as a reader would. We look for steps that are confusing, advice that is too vague, and tips that would not work in a real home. Finally, we edit for clarity, tone, and flow.

Only then does the article go live.

Where We Find Facts

We rely on trusted sources. These include design experts, respected publications, product makers, and official guides. We choose sources with a good record, and we avoid anything we cannot confirm.

If experts disagree, we say so. We would rather show you both sides than pretend there is only one answer.

How We Handle Images

Images matter in home decor, so we are careful with them. We use three kinds.

Photos and designs we create or own. These come directly from our team.

AI-made images. We sometimes use AI tools to create room visuals. The idea behind each image is ours. We decide the style, colors, layout, and mood, so the result is not generic or copied from someone else’s work. We aim to make sure these images look believable and do not mislead you about what a real product or room looks like.

Work from other creators. Sometimes another designer, photographer, or brand makes something that truly deserves a place in our article. When that happens, we show it and give clear credit to the creator.

Giving Credit to Other Creators

Good work deserves recognition. When we feature another person’s image, we name the creator and point readers to where they can find more of their work.

We never remove a watermark or hide a credit. We never claim someone else’s work as our own.

We also respect permission. Credit alone does not give anyone the right to use a photo. Before we post another creator’s work, we make sure we have the right to use it, either by asking them or by using a source that allows it.

If you made an image we have used and you want it credited differently or taken down, tell us. We will act quickly.

Product Reviews and Recommendations

When we mention a product, we share it because we think it is useful. We try to explain why it works and who it suits best. We also point out downsides when they matter.

We do not promise that a product will look or perform the same in your home. Lighting, space, and taste all change the result.

Ads, Affiliate Links, and Our Independence

Our site earns money through ads and, at times, affiliate links. This money helps us keep Decor Sagel running.

It does not change what we write. Advertisers do not control our articles. A company cannot pay us to say something we do not believe.

If a post includes a link that may earn us a fee, we say so. If a company sends us a product or pays for coverage, we will make that clear to you.

Fixing Mistakes

We work hard to be right, but nobody is perfect. When we find an error, we fix it fast.

If we change something important, we note it in the article. We do not quietly erase mistakes and hope nobody noticed.

You can help. If you spot something wrong, send us a note with the article name and what looks off. We will review it and update the page if needed.

Keeping Articles Fresh

Home trends, products, and prices change. We review our older articles from time to time. If advice has aged or a product is gone, we update the article or remove it.

Our Standards for Tone

We write for everyday people. Our language is simple and friendly. We do not use hard words to sound smart, and we do not talk down to you.

We avoid false claims and exaggeration. We stay respectful toward people, brands, and other creators.

Our Promise to You

Everything we publish should be honest, useful, and made with care. People write the words. Facts get checked. Images are credited or clearly made by us. And no ad or link will change what we tell you.
